Reborn...My grandmother once told me a story, you know..
She let me in on a little secret, one that i too believe is true,
There exists one person in everyone's life,
One person that is their soul's partner, their match,
And throughout time, and history,
The two souls seek each other out, time and again,
Even if death should claim them,
They allow the fires of rebirth to take them,

Heart fluttering, franticly beating,
Trapped behind iron bars
A lonely heart beat,
The only life in the darkness,
The bone-chilling cold,
And the rain falls endlessly.

Lightning falls, shattering the dark,
Driving it away for a moment,
Lighting a fire in the heart,
That beats alone in the darkness,
Unburying emotions,
Hate, and Anger,
That were forgotten long ago.
